stories chosen from Amai-Chan through Andrea Readwolf,

Starfall by Amai-Chan Short one-shot, Japanese names. The tragic premise of this story might seem a bit unrealistic, but the characters' reactions are quite real. The creative way this story is organized makes it difficult to brush aside. This is a piece that will touch your heart with the facts of the fragility of life and the strength of the bonds of love. Strength: Style.

Perversion by Amara Hyatt
Short one-shot, Japanese names. How would it really feel to wield the power to destroy anything and everything? Especially if you're a weak, struggling little girl? This is a short character study that explores Hotaru's true feelings about the power that nearly destroyed her. Strength: Characterization.

Brother's Song and Brother's Reply by Amberlin
Short one-shots, English names. This is a pair of beautifully crafted poemfics focusing on the relationship between Sapphire and Diamond. These pieces, unusually lengthy and well-developed for fandom poetry, detail the bond between the brothers from the beginning to the end, bringing the reader a new understanding of both men. Strength: Characterization.

Why an Easily Frustrated Senshi Shouldn't Take Computer Science by Amy Bridger
Short one-shot, Japanese names. Born of the author's own frustrations with coursework, this little story is soul food for anyone who's ever wanted to throw their own computer out of a window. A bit unrealistic, but it's fun to imagine the consequences of a lightning elemental getting upset in a computer lab. Strength: Originality.

Visions of Yesterday by Andrea Readwolf
Two long chapters, Japanese names. It is hard to tell whether or not this wonderful story is complete, but I don't want to know for sure, because if it turned out to be incomplete I'd have to remove it from this list. "Visions of Yesterday" explores the Silver Millennium, specifically the events leading to the births of Endymion and Serenity. These elegant tales describe a time when ancient gods and goddesses ruled their planets, but even then, times were changing away from the stable peace these rulers once knew. This story is a prequel to "I'll Be There For You," but fortunately it stands as a beautiful piece on its own, because the first few chapters of "I'll Be..." are missing from ASMR. Strength: Style.
