Pathways to Infinity by Dan Orner
Long multi-chapter, Japanese names. A convoluted plot by a new, and yet old, enemy leads to general mystery and mayhem, along with some unexpected appearances by rather unusual crossover characters. There are some minor continuity errors in this story, but overall it's an intriguing read with plenty of surprises. Strength: Plot.
Usagi is Dead Usagi is Dead Hip Hip Hooray by Dark Day for Anime
Long multi-chapter, Japanese names. I've only read half of this fic so far, but I'm sold. Weirdness abounds in an off-the-wall plot that, miraculously, manages to make sense and keep everyone roughly in-character while doing it! Some characterizations are a slight stretch but not unbelievable, and the plot concepts are nothing short of ingenious. There's a lot more going on here than initially meets the eye. It's very...Monty Python meets Terry Pratchett. Strength: Plot.
*Chapter Two of this story is unwrapped.*
SailorVenus R.I.P. by Dark Day for Anime
Short one-shot, Japanese names. A case of mistaken identity in Crystal Tokyo puts Venus in an awkward, but amusing, situation. Strength: Originality.
Life: Eclipse by Dark Ferret
Short one-shot, Japanese names. A dark and gloomy tale in which Mamoru's life and personality take an unexpected turn in the years following canon. A very unusual concept, and a different angle on the characters we know. Strength: Originality.
The Translucent Corridor by Dave Ziegler
Short one-shot, Japanese names. Journey into the dark and lonely mind of Chiba Mamoru, and watch as he is finally coaxed out of his shell and set on the path toward learning to love again. Strength: Originality.
