A little melodramatic, a bit too over-the-top, and the teeniest bit improbable storyline... but a nice read nevertheless. This is an AU fic, that has Serena as an assassin and Darien as her target. Of course, the usual follows, but the language is good, characters well-sketched and the pace of the story is smooth yet rapid - events occuring one after another in quick succession. A fair attempt for a first try in the world of SM fanfiction. ^_~
* Casablanca by Kyuui
From the title alone, most of you would have realised that "Casablanca" is a Rei fic. This is a sensitive one-parter on Rei, and even though it's pretty much impossible to describe everything about a character like Rei in one short fic, Kyuu made an excellent attempt of distilling the essence of Rei into this story. Wistful and moving, this will touch the heart of all Rei fans.
Revolt? by Jen (posted by Reia)
An alternative rewrite of the Silver Millennium, where Earth is enslaved by the Moon to prevent a prophecy from coming to fruition. Destiny however, proves stronger. A heart-thumping story with plenty of action, and pervaded with both hope and despair. Even though the storyline seems to be more or less predictable, this fic with its vivid descriptions and very real emotions, is definitely worth looking at.

BTW, those of you thinkung this is a lemon fic can put these ideas out of your mind. What this title means is simply how love comes at the most unexpected moment, and at times, between a most unlikely pair. I don't want to reveal too much, but suffice to say that this is an intense fic which explores the depths of two characters, one of whom is our Senshi of Love. Read! ^_^
* The Longest Day by Amadeus
This fic is characteristic of Amadeus, with stupendous battle scenes and amazing attention to details. Even more than that, the characters are fully fleshed out, and even though we are only able to glimpse at the different facets of them, their every action tugs at our emotions. It was heartrending at certain scenes, which I won't reveal since I don't want to spoil the fic. All I can say is, read this fic. You won't regret it.

* Too Sexy for my Fur by Krysia
A comedy involving Artemis, two female cats (who, incidententally, can talk), some ego-stroking and plenty of witty comments. An amusing little fic that serves to lift some of the depressing air after the previous few recommended fics. ^_~
Icicle Tears by Tiana
A promising start to a fic that has all the makings of an epic. After decade of peace, the Sailor Senshi found themselves with a new and more deadly battle on their hands. Even though there's only one chapter out at this time, I find myself intrigued and certainly look forward to more chapters. =)
Oz by Dew
Yes, you got it. This is an Oz-like fantasy story, with Dorothy swopped in favour of Usagi. It promises to be a fun ride though, with familiar characters and even youmas in place of the characters in "The Wizard of Oz", travelling along a silver road to Elysion. Read and be entertained. ^_^
