The strength in this fic lies in its originality. I’ve never seen a fic quite like this before, if there was ever one, and so, I was pretty intrigued right from the start. Ever wondered what happened to the various Sailor Senshis of the multitudes of planets in the Galaxies? After all, Galaxia took them from their birth planets, destroyed their home world and in the end, returned them back to their origins. How would they cope? How would they start anew once more? This fic tells you just that.
Miko Love by MysticMew
I hardly read crossovers, and wasn’t going to read this particular one either, but something about this -- probably the excellent language -- pulled me into this fic. I don’t know anything about Soul Lights, and so I’m still pretty confused as to the who’s who and the other universe MysticMew’s writing about. Nevertheless, after reading the first chapter, I’m convinced that this is an exceptional fic that anyone would not regret reading. It would perhaps help, though, if summaries of the other animes used are given.
* Golden Afternoon by Dejana Talis
A simple story that awashes one with a sense of peace and happiness after reading it. Just perhaps, life need not be of fire and passion, but more of a soothing river, and still be as meaningful. A story to enjoy over a steaming cup of coffee on a rainy day.
* Keeping the Score by Starsea
This is an AR story about Venus, a ‘what-if’ story that imagines the Senshi of Love and Beauty fighting alone instead of joining up with the group of inners... because they never appeared. With her superb command of the language, starsea is able to communicate Minako’s anguish and loneliness without being overly dramatic... a semi-tragic fic that will make your heart grow heavy as you read on...
* Lady Pinball Wizard by superkate
Superkate has done it again... creating so many new fics at one time that I can’t stop recommending them, even within the same Highlights thread. Anyway, as she said in her summary, this is a pre-first season fic in which a mysterious personage watch over a happy and carefree teenager before she turned into that familiar warrior of love and justice that this particular show is all about. Another fic that is different from everyone else’s, which once again proves that our Kate is an outstanding writer who loves to think out of the box. ^_~
