A Silver Millennium fic that takes a look at history from a different angle. Judging from the "Book 1" in the title, we're probably looking at the start to a monstrous epic here... and from the chapters, list of characters and dozens of kingdoms (There are so many that the author kept a list of characters and such in one chapter so we're not confused with the various names... )introduced so far, Luna Hope seems to be single-handedly building a whole new world on her own. Do look out for this fic which puts forth an inspiring tale of by-gone days of castles and knights, kings and queens, princes and princesses...
Hands Fall Together by KihinRanno
This is another of several "what-if" fics out there where someone else instead of Usagi was found first by Luna... only done extraordinarily well! I like KihinRanno's characterisation of Mamoru... where he's a teenager with fears, insecurities, and a temper! He's not the perfect man whom everyone depends on and that makes him that much more human. I love how she was able to describe in detail his first thoughts and feelings when he became Tuxedo Mask, and all the amusing asides that come along with it. Mamoru is not a born hero but he demonstrates how he can rise to the occasion... I'm definitely looking forward to the second chapter! ^_^
* Standing on the Edge of 50% Chance by Sokudo Ningyou
Another Minako-based fic that takes on a surprising turn... a unique idea that seems unbelievable at first reading... but upon closer inspection, and with help from Sokudo's superb writing skills, we begin to feel that it might not be so impossible after all. A fic that can raise goosebumps and send a shiver down your spine...

Amongst all the depressing fics that abounds this month, this particular fic stands out with its absolute fluffiness. Read and be charmed by this adorable feel-good story. ^_^
