* Catch the Quarter! by Papirini
Alert! Alert! Haruka-on-a-rampage!
What happens when a very bored Haruka is unleashed onto an unsuspecting city for the day? This fic tells us. An uproarious fic, filled with pure slapstick humour and amusing scenes, good for relaxing the brain after a particularly exhausting day. Two thumbs up!!!

Mortal Coil by ruminant
I’m sure all of us have wondered at some point or another what might have happened if the senshi have lived in peaceful times... if they were sent forward in time after the Silver Millennium but without the ginzuishou and weren’t senshi. Many authors have attempted to write fics with such a theme, and this fic echoes the idea... with a slight twist. Usagi is given a chance to view the alternate realities, and the results were perhaps not what she had expected...

* Flesh and Blood by Krysia
A father-daughter relationship taken from Rei’s perspective. "Nostalgic", "wistful", "poignant" are the few adjectives I can think of to describe this touching fic. Krysia delivers a perfectly beautiful account of the estranged relationship, making the most of the strong emotions it can evoke without going overboard with angst and accusation, a direction that such similar fics tend to go. Do read.

* Taboo by Heavenly Pearl
Perhaps this is an overly-written cliché that dozens of writers has used before. An oft-repeated theme of Pluto, the Senshi of Time... and there certainly have been some other brilliant fics written on it. Still, I would like to recommend Heavenly Pearl’s latest one-parter, which explores Setsuna’s mind-set as she broke the three sacred laws of time... perhaps because of the smooth style of narration, or possibly because of the almost palpable feelings that seems to emerge from the fic... whatever it is, it is undeniably an excellent fic that shouldn’t be missed.
