Crystal Tokyo might be a utopia in the manga/ anime, but seems like plenty of authors see the darkness beyond all its cystalline perfection. Perhaps in our cynical world, nobody really believes in a perfect world anymore? In any case, this is Dejana's take on Crystal Tokyo, where shadows lurk and youmas attack with impunity. as she described it, this is a sci-fi alternate-universe story and I think you will enjoy it.

Lilac Smmers! And I thought she disappeared off the face of the Sailormoon fanfiction world! This is not a continuation of her previous incomplete fics (I guess we all have to wait longer for that...) but a new one-parter. True to her style, this is a light-hearted fic that won't disappoint. ^_^ Teenage years are hard to bear, for both the teenager herself and for her family as well, even if the afore-mentioned teenager is the mightiest princess on earth... well, the only princess of Crystal Tokyo anyway. In any case, it's harder when this princess has parents that continually embarrass her! An episode from a day in the life of a princess. Read!
* Full Circle by Dejana Talis
A one-parter on Venus. The senshi have come to their full powers, and while it's a blessing to the other senshi, it seems to be a curse on Venus, the goddess of love and beauty. This fic writes of the internal conflict within Minako, as she struggles with her desires and duties. I love the way Dej portrays the relationship between the senshi, and once again, her strong language skills shines through as Minako's pain and intensity of feelings are almost palpable as I read the fic. Do read.
* Just As Fatal by KihinRanno
Just one word after I read this fic - Wow! This is one powerful fic. An AR fic, which imagines what might have happened if the society turns against the Sailor Senshi, and a father unknowingly hunts his own daughter. This fic is like an open wound, which keeps bleeding angst and sorrow, and your heart will ache as you read on, as the layers of misunderstanding compell you to say "if only..." throughout. Nevertheless, it is a brilliant story that may leave you sobbing at the end. Highly recommended.

Actually, when I started this fic, I wanted to hit the 'back' button immediately. It was way too confusing. The dream-like atmosphere, and disjointed scenes, the disconnected sentences... this is certainly a style I haven't really encountered before, and I was tempted to just give up on it, simply because it's getting on my nerves. But somehow I decided to continue reading, and as I read on, it seemed to draw me in. The picture becomes clearer and clearer, as if it's a jigsaw puzzle that I'm matching the pieces to. So perhaps, you'll like to try it too, and stay on for a while. You'll see the light... eventually.
